There are moments when the mind goes dark.
After surgery, after loss, after major change, there’s a pause where everything feels uncertain. It’s easy to spiral into questions about meaning and permanence.
In one of those low spaces, I remembered something powerful from years ago.
A voice, whether memory, subconscious, or something beyond , said:
“It’s not your time. You have something to do.”
In my case it was my father during my near death experience.
That message has stayed with me.
Not because it promised greatness.
But because it suggested purpose.
When life feels overwhelming, the instruction isn’t always to fix everything.
Sometimes it’s simpler.
Stop.
Listen.
Be present.
When the mind clears, the next step becomes obvious.
You don’t have to know the entire path.
You only have to return to the present moment and begin again.
Alignment Before Outcome
Notice when your thoughts begin to spiral into finality or fear.
What if instead of asking “Why?” you asked, “What am I here to do right now?”
Purpose doesn’t always arrive loudly.
Sometimes it whispers.
That’s alignment.
The outcome will unfold.
