The Power of Letting Go

Some lessons don’t arrive gently. They linger until we’re ready to hear them.
For me, acceptance took years.

I thought holding on proved loyalty. I believed that if something ended, it meant I had failed. It took a long time to understand that sometimes endings are not punishments, they’re completion.

There’s a symbolic idea that the number nine represents endings and new beginnings. Whether you believe in numerology or not, the metaphor resonates: a spiral that doesn’t stop, it expands.

I realized that I wasn’t just grieving a relationship. I was grieving the story I had told myself about what that relationship meant.

Letting go didn’t excuse anything. It didn’t rewrite the past. It simply allowed me to stop fighting what had already happened.

Forgiveness began when I stopped blaming everyone else, and stopped punishing myself.
Sometimes healing doesn’t begin with moving on.
It begins with acceptance.

Alignment Before Outcome

Notice where you may still be holding on, believing that endurance equals love or loyalty.

What would shift if acceptance wasn’t defeat — but release?

You don’t have to erase the past.
You only have to stop carrying it forward.

That’s alignment.
Healing follows.

Quote

“Endings are not walls. They are spirals.”
