A Door I Almost Didn’t Open

Some doors don’t open loudly.

The door I almost didn’t open was my platform.

For a long time, I stood on the other side of it, unsure of what I wanted to do with my life — or what shape my work was meant to take. I hesitated, overthought, and waited for clarity instead of action.

Last June, I joined the Hay House Writing Community and began working seriously on my book. Shortly after, cancer treatments, surgery, and healing required my full attention, and writing had to pause.

When I returned, something shifted.

I looked at my writing differently. I brought my website back online, created space for my blog, podcast, and a trading academy I’m building with my longtime trading mentor. Each piece felt like part of the same door I’d been circling for months.

The Artist’s Way helped reshape my writing habit and unexpectedly gave me the foundation for the book I’m preparing to publish. What began as exploration became direction.

2025 was a year of reinvention — healing through cancer, navigating an existential crisis, and reconnecting with my higher self. That journey is what my work is truly about.

The door appeared in June 2025.
I finally walked through it on January 29, 2026.

The door was never locked.
I just had to be ready to open it.
