I first heard of the St. Martin De Porres House of Hope a few years ago from a close friend of the family, Cathie. A few weeks Cathie called asking for donations and support. My mission is to Help Other People Everywhere (HOPE) and took this as a sign. A cause I could Champion.

Interview with Sr. Therese O’Sullivan

I visited St. Martin De Porres House of Hope, located in the Woodlawn neighborhood of Chicago, recently and interviewed Sr. Therese O’Sullivan. She talked about the House of Hope and her hopes for the future. The House of Hope is a converted Catholic grammar school to a shelter for homeless women. Listen at http://danhansen.com/32.

Tis the Season for Giving (Going the Extra Mile)

Less than 62 days to help keep the St. Martin De Porres House of Hope going into the future.

Christmas has come and gone. Tis still the season for giving and still coffee makes a great gift. My goal is to sell 8,000 boxes of coffee to help raise most of if not all the $40,000 needed to keep their doors open. Buy 3 or 4 boxes at WantMyCoffee.com. 50% of all profits will be donated to the St. Martin De Porres House of Hope.
