I was always told to dream big and good things would happen. For the longest time I was drifting through life. I had to learn to get a big picture in my mind of what I want to do. Don't get me wrong, I have hit many goals and made things happen. Now those dreams and goals have changed.
Because I have been working on improving myself, I have new big dreams. Napoleon Hill stated that whatever the mind can conceive and believe it can achieve. There are days when I find it hard to believe or even conceive. When I have those days, I just have to remember why I wanted to change.
Three tips to help dream big:
- Have a big why. I want to take off a lot of weight. Something I have struggled with all my life. I turn 53 this Friday and I want to make it to 54. This may sound silly but my father died at 53 and I don't want to be where he is... 6 feet under.
- Find a goal that isn't about you. This one was a bit weird. Once I started helping my brothers and friends create their big dream. Great things have been happening for me. Money started coming in from unexpected places and I sleep better. I'm sure part of that is due to the healthy coffee I drink. I feel better as a human being.
- Vision board. Create a vision board. This vision board has images and sayings that help you remember you big why and your goals. I have a new app called GoalsOnTrack which has a nice vision board section built in. Just upload images and your vision board plays like a screensaver. Very Cool!!!
