Happy and Grateful

Today is Thanksgiving in America and a day to say what you are thankful for. It is very tough to even think about happiness and thankfulness I am when the bills are coming due and I have no idea how I am going to pay them. So I'm going to dig a little deeper and see what I find. Of course the first thing that comes to mind is my wife and son who will stick by me no matter what. This actually brings a tear to my eyes because I have often wondered if I was deserving of such love. My mom and 3 brothers are there too. Even though we all have our own struggles, we support each other. Then there is my Walden University family. My dissertation chair and mentor Dr. Walter McCollum, my dissertation Cohort group, and Alumni, who have supported and encouraged me through the arduous task of writing not only my dissertation but also my KAMs. Then there is my extended family, even though I do not reach out to them often, are there too. I also have a new family of network marketers who seek to help each other succeed in our Organo Gold coffee businesses. Finally, I am grateful that I have the ability to think and write, without it I would not be able to express my thoughts and ideas or finish my dissertation.

I am happy and grateful that I am a Diamond consultant for Organo Gold coffee because I am able to be a good husband, father, son, brother, mentor, and author because I am able to have the freedom and time to write by entertaining and inspiring my readers so that I can create positive social change.

Day 2:

Read 15 mins /Day: I read a few more articles for Chapter 2 of my dissertation and continued to read How to Blog a Book: Write, Publish, and Promote Your Work One Post at a Time and Ready, Set, Novel!: A Workbook.

No TV: I did watch a little football and Planet Earth with my family. It felt nice to sit and chill after a great meal when the tryptophan kicked in.

Listen to PD Audio: Murphy's Committee by Jerry Clark

No Newspapers: I still don't read them.

Associate with positive people: Spent a little time on Twitter looking for more like minded people.

Exercise: I took a half hour stroll around the neiborhood.
